For me walk in the nature helps to open up my mind and connect to my inner soul which is bit hard for do in a regular & day to day life.
So in order do that trekking plays a pretty awesome role of it which i enjoy the most. Recently we did a remarkable trek known as Sandakphu trek which is the one of the very few place in the world where you can have a breathtaking view of four of highest mountains in the world.
Sandakphu, being the highest peak in West Bengal, India, offers grand views of the world’s tallest peaks Lhotse and Makalu, the fourth and fifth highest peaks in the world stand tall at 8,516m and 8,463m. On the other hand, Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak, stands with its family at 8,586m.The Kanchenjunga cluster is famously called ” The Sleeping Buddha “, based on its appearance. Mt.Kumbhakarna forms the head and face of Buddha, while Kanchenjunga forms the upper body.

There were 8 of us when we started the trek but only 5 of us were able to complete the trek where 3 of our team members affected by mountain sickness so badly including myself but i was able recovery so soon & joined with my team in a half a way. Im not gonna say details about my team members individually but i can say all of us were crazy as determined to complete the trek.
Its basically 3 days trek ( starting by crossing India-Nepal border) where you will have to climb 13km both moderate & steepy on the 1st day, 15km moderate on 2nd day and 7km steepy on the last day respectively along with the rest in 3 basecamps. Seems to be difficult? No its not. Not obviously as long as you have a good team with you. Its not about going to the top of the mountain its about how you are gonna go to the top of the mountain. Each and every step you take you can feel the greatness of it. So along the trek we faced awesome experiences, where all of a sudden mist is coming down you can’t even see the one next you & you will have to sit down without moving even one step untill you get a clear view, and the fast blowing wind which tries to get through all of your winter layers feel like poking with thousands of needles , freezed fingers you can’t even hold the water bottle, somtimes temperature drop down to -7° to -9° in a place you won’t find hotwater you will have to touch freezed water which feels like burning your fingers..Yeah.. Thats really awesome.
All the way from bottom to the top of the mountain the views you witness and the satisfaction you get while climbing it will be last in your memory forever. And yeah the crazy things you do with your friends.
Apart from that you can enjoy traditional Nepali & Tebatian food along the journey which gives you a delicious taste. A hot cup of tea does a really good job while you are shivering with the cold to reduce it, you will hold the cup with both of your hand in order to warm your palms.
So that’s a bit of the experience i could express by the words about that amazing trek, you must witness it, it worth of spending your time, money & effort.
“Everyone wants live on the top of the mountain, but all happiness and growth occurs while you are climbing it.”

It just requires you to take one step in front of the other…again and again and again, Repeatedly .And if you let yourself to make some room to be present throughout the entirety of the trek, you will witness beauty of every step of the way, you will enjoy the every bit of it
not just at the summit.
